Default Raptor 700 Traction Problem

Now that I have my machine modified with some extra HP. When I hit the gas, all I get is wheel spin. Can you guys recommend a tire that will grip and get the power to the ground?? Thanks.

This is like saying "i have a racecar what kinda tires should i use?" it depends on where you ride. Trails? Sand? Gravel? Dirt? Mud? Mx? Concrete? Flat track? we need more info. I have Holeshot HD's they work great in sand, gravel, dirt, and mud. Great trail tire.

IMO razors are the best tire you can go with...

i went with the holshots and i love em i tear threw stuff my friends blasters dont but they have stock tires, bandits, and some other knock offs. i love the holeshots but im getting down to a new pair is needed and im going to go with razr 2's. my buddies balster with razr ones do great, about as good as mine if not the same or better. but ii think mines better in mud and tricky slippery stuff.

I will suggest kenda klaws, they hook up great, have reversible tread and will last longer than holeshots or razrs.

Default Raptor 700 Traction Problem

Traction problems with the 700 is common after modding the 700. Too much low end power. A lot of people after modding them have been going to a 15 tooth front sprocket with great results.

$15 bucks for a new sprocket beats having to buy new tires!!!!

I have also went with a 15 tooth front sprocket with my mods and I like the gearing alot better now. Alot less wheel spin on take off but dont notice any torque loss when taking off. It also stretched 2nd and 3rd gear out real nice and just almost makes first usable somethimes lol
