660 vs 700

Default 660 vs 700

which raptor is better for trail riding? i own a 660 and been trail riding for 3 years now and want a new quad. how are the new 700s?

They lowered the seat and center of gravity some and it is also slighlty wider and longer than the 660. The front end stays down a little better as well. The 700 like the 660 still has tons of torque and is designed for the trails. Yamaha did a good job of looking at a great quad (660) and made alot of the improvements it needed. If a trail rider I dont think there is a better option out there right now.

I havnt been impressed with a 660 yet, id love to ride a new 700 though.

I hated the 660s but bought a 700.

No comparison in my opinion.. The 700r is a great trail machine..

I have ridden the 700 and it rides a bit smoother than the 660. Overall I think they are still very close. Both also feature a lot of handlebar vibration.

The 700 doesn't seem to be big enough of a step up for me to make the jump to the new bike.

would you say 450 or a 700 then for a trail bike? im just tired of my 660 and want a better quad. never rode a 700 but i love how a 450 rides

I rode a 450r and liked how smooth it rode. But I use my reverse waaayy too often and would never give it up. I'm actually looking forward to checking out the new Kawasaki 450 (which has reverse).

why are u tired of the 660? its not like if its the worst quad ever..
