Hello from Turkey; (not the one to bake )

While many fanatic rationalists and chronic jealous riders murmur at raptor, I have already
get mine from florida through the internet without seeing the man or the machine and it nearly cost me $10.000 with the air-freigth
Dear problematic friends over there please feel how lucky bunch of people you are and start to enjoy one of the greatest fun-machines of the world.
Since Yamaha Turkey does not import Atvs,I dont have any spare parts, guarantee or after market parts here.Would you please suggest me the parts that I can fit them in my suit case when I wisit San-Diago for one day.I am interested in twist throtlle,clutch,leg-extensions,filters and any thing that helps performance and reliability (I am sure you know a lot)which is not heavy to carry in a back-pack will be highly appreciated.
If you can give me an adress,e-mail or phone of a shop that I can find these kind of parts which is located at San-Diago or L.A. you will make one happy raptor owner a very happy raptor owner

(By the way Turkey is between Europa and Asia)

Yea u should get those and a air filter, some different jets for the carb in case u have problems with the altitude or weather change. That really sucks that you don't have any dealers in case u blow a tire and u gotta buy a new one. Good luck man. I give u credit for payin that much for a raptor. Dont flip it . Have fun

Just a little off topic but I see that there are tons of views on this thread. Bet most of them thought of a Raptor "jumping" high, heck, thats what I thought and was ready to see some pics!

Good luck with the Raptor.

juggalo,
Let me clear up some confusion for you. In Europe the model designation # is YMF660R not YFM660R. The Banshee is YFZ350. The digits after the designation #s are the year and color designation letters. Example mine is a YFM660RNW.
The "W" indicates that it is white(Blck&Wht). The "N" indicates that it is a 2001 model. The "Y" is simple that means Yamaha. The "F" means four wheeler(ATV). The "M" means fourstroke. The numbers simply mean the cc classificaton. "S" & "Z" Both mean two stroke(YFS200-YFZ350). Hope that helps.
