Hello, Everyone.

Fairly new member here looking for recommendations on nerf bars for a 2000 400EX. I race motocross and it's
become clear I'll need nerf bars on my quad if I'm continuing to jump, as I've had a few close calls with my
boot missing the peg on landing.

My question is what's the difference between DG, Graydon Proline, and AC bars? I want something that is
lightweight, but very strong. I mean, will non-propeg types break if I land with my foot on the webbing?
Please excuse my ignorance here, but it's from lack of experience.

Also, any recommendations on who has the best price?

Thanks....
David.

I just got a 2000 400EX that came with AC nerfs on them. I like them a lot but I would have bought Graydon nerfs had it not came with the AC. I like the Graydons because they have an angle to them which looks sweet. I really don't like the DG ones. Go to www.exriders.com and there is a pic and review on the Graydon nerfs.

On exriders as he was talking is my review of the Graydon Nerfs. I love them and in my first race I hit the landing of a jump funny and pushed on the bars to hold me up. Didn't have a problem with it at all. All the PROPEG does is move the pegs back and down. I like them alot better than DG's. Tell me what you think. exriders is a great site you should check it out. None of the BS the goes on in here.

If it would'nt be to much of a problem, could you send a picture of the brand you have? doesnt matter the brand or if its a pro-peg style or non. But I am interested in pro-peg style for my height.... thanks a bunch

I have Graydon either, I used to have DG, I prefer Graydon 200%, they fit great, are strong, and look sweet, specially on my 440ex.
You won't be dissapointed
