YFZ shocks on a Raptor 700?
#3
I just finished bolting a pair of YFZ 450 (05's) on mine ! They instal easy and are about a 1/2" to 1" shorter than the Stock Raptor shocks. If you can pick a set up for $250 smackers or less it's well worth it! The only other thing to know is that they are a little more firm than the stockers, so getting the front and rear of the bike to compress at the same rate may be a little tricky depending on your weight.

Actually, I would be putting the Ohlins shocks I have on our 2005 YFZ onto a Raptor 700. They are the same length as the stock YFZ shocks, but about a thousand times more plush. I'm ok with lowering the Raptor by an inch.
Will the rear shock for a YFZ fit the Raptor 700?
