I was just wondering what everyone that bought an 800 xt outlander for 07 out the door price just so that I can dicker with the dealer when i go to buy thanks!

 

Where you live or purchase the quad will have a big impact on your final OTD price. Might be tough to negotiate much on the 07's since they are just arriving. There are some good deals out there on 06's as BRP is offering dealers $800 back on all remaining 06 Outlanders. My general rule of thumb is to only pay MSRP OTD. I've had pretty good luck.

With sales tax @ 7.50% IF you can buy under MSRP here in CA knock yourself out. Unless the factories are offering huge incentives to dealers to clear out old inventory the best deals I've found are MSRP OTD. Even if you buy out of state, once you register you have to pay sales tax. The mark up on these ATV's isn't what most people think.

Some states have no sales tax, this makes quite a difference in pricing, an $8k purchase can run you almost $600 in taxes and registration. I got my 800 for $8399 OTD but it was an 06 with BRP offering $800 back to dealers, I had to drive to LA to get this deal nobody in No. Calif would touch it, best price I got was $8499 for a 650 Outlander. I was quoted $10,200 for an 06 800 XT, same dealer in LA quoted me $8999.
