so I thought I might liven things up a bit. Havent heard a thing about a DS in days! well as far as Im concerned this years sand riding season is pretty much over with for me . all the big holiday weekends are in the past and I want to thank you all again for letting me join you at DS Days 06 where I had a great time and enjoyed meeting you all . I have decided though to place my Hayabusa DS turbo bike on ebay tonight with several other bikes that I have had laying around and use the money in an attempt to finally pay off my remaining debt . I want to start the new year DEBT FREE for the first time since I was a teenager. I actually owed almost 100k at one point , not including my house and have been focusing on nothing but paying that moster debt off which as you can probably imagine has been hard . I had my fist son when I was 19 and had twins 10 months later and finally they are all over 18 and gone. YAY! LOL. seems like the time to do this and it will be like starting a new life without owing anything. I should hopefully be able to pay the rest of it off with the items Im selling this week. I built this bike for myself and its the best Ive ever done with all the bells and whistles and I'm now confident that it has been dialed and completely tested solid and bullet proof and its time to let go. I planned on keeping it but the other day I was out in the garage and I looked around at all the tooling and equipment and parts and realized I was already thinking about building another one. anyway , I have several other bikes here to ride and figure it will be alot more fun to build and keep a bike like this when I no longer have this debt on my mind and less responsibility. I'm self employed actually make good money but am tired of having to work so hard just to hand 5K a month out to card companies. anyway it should be an exciting thing to watch as Im starting it for $1 with no reserve. wish me luck! well what ever it goes for....it goes for.... my wife thinks Im crazy for selling it just when I get it perfect and with only 100 miles on it.... LOL sure would be nice to OWE NOTHING though! and I can build another sometime.

 

Been there done that . At one time I was about 40 grand in debt it took me about 3 years to get that under control even had to cash in my 401K and now I have one credit card with a $1200 dollar max I keep around for traveling or an emergency it is a big weight off the shoulders. As for the busa I only hope that one day I can afford to own one. I plan on building one in the next year or two but rite now I have to many places for my money to go I have three teenagers I bought a truck last year and restored it for my oldest son and now I am getting ready to do it for my younger son. Hope you get what you want for your bikes from what I have seen you do very good work.

Duneme, We are going to Winnemucca this weekend only about another 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. If it is boring in Fallon you can always come on over and meet us there.

LOL. its like a short story but I wanted to give all the info I could about it. think I went overboard but it sounded good last night.
