i just bought a 2 month old 06 450er for $4000 what does everyone thing of the deal did i do good? also i was lookin into the hrc kit but how would i know if it was already installed? i got it from someone trading it into a rv wharehouse so i didnt have a way to find out, also sometimes it takes a while for the electric start to kick in, like the starter spins but doesnt always catch, anyknow know of any recalls, all replys help thank you

 

Yea sounds pretty good to me the way I would check for an hrc kit is check the encap on the exhaust and the airbox lid if the lid doesn't look like the open one that they sell in the hrc kit then it isn't installed...How is your battery does it just crank and crank and just not start, how long has it been since the valves were adjusted,how is the spark plug,I would check all of these things and make sure they are fine or have the dealer do it for you...To my knowledge there are no recalls but I just got my frist Honda a few weeks ago so am kinda new to the game of Honda...make sure you keep up with maintance of the quad checking the oil and tranny oil,airfilter,chain,valves(very important because the valves get tighter and tighter and will become harder to start and will start to pull into your heads make sure you get them adjusted or checked every 10-15 tanks of gas)If you don't have a manual and need help on anything jut let me know I will be glad to help.
