450r lonestar axell fit on my 400ex?

Default 450r lonestar axell fit on my 400ex?

my buddy is getting rid of his 450r and pieing off partd and is selling me his lonstar extended axel and i was just wondering if this thing will even fit on my quad

The axles are different on a 400 and a 450. I doubt the lonestar will work.

Hmm good ? i doubt it would work but you can give it a try and see I would get the carrier and hubs etc from the 450r also and give it a try before you go buying it from him you can try but I don't know if it will work of not.

i thought all hondas had the same rear end set up though minus suspenstion differences

I don't have a 400ex and never have so I couldn't tell you for a fact and the slines might be different on the axles I don't know just give it a try before buying it and if it works then buy it from him or buy a new one.

Default 450r lonestar axell fit on my 400ex?

I tried it, owning both. I had a plus 4 swingarm for my 400, it didn't fit my 450r(correctly). They are really close but the chain would have been misaligned about 1/8 inch. All the parts seemed to be off that 1/8 inch, like honda did just to make me mad or something.
