Default What new for the DS??

I like many others are always pushing our DS' to the next level. Since day one of my DS I have been buying new parts to help give me that little bit more in the hp department.

What things would u like to see be redisigned or upgraded for the DS??

Being that I know, the manufactors watch these forums. What would u like to see in a new DS??

1) For the current DS I would like to see a new head design. I would love to see a new case made for the DS, so it can except cranks larger than the 8-10mm we here about(something similar to what the banshees get from the billet and matoon cases).

2) For a new DS, hows about a 800+ cc v-twin thats high reving and lightweight. How about in the 350-400lb range.

800cc full sport DS... EFI... around 400lbs... chain drive... solid axle... manual shift... and better suspension than the current DS, not that its bad in any way... I just want about 2 feet of travel front and back.

I agree with those upgrades but is Can-am even going to continue the ds in the future ? You don't even see it in the background of there TV ads.

I really hope they continue the DS650... I would love it to become one of the staple bikes on the market. The longer its around the more parts will be available. I think it is really a bike that can hold a significant value to many riders. Gobs of power and competively priced. That is a nice package for many people. Plus its one of the only bikes perfectly suited for us taller riders. I would love to see the DS650 continue, and a DS800 be added to the sport lineup. They have outlanders in all different sizes, why not the DS too. Rcoop you are right about the commercials though... haven't seen a DS in any of them. I'm sure they are just pushing the new stuff though. You just cannot deny the DS650, it is a well designed machine.

Yea I agree with you too. I just hope to get some idea from CA that they are commited to keeping that platform for a while.
