Default 2000 Kodiak ATV bought , good idea?

I just purchased a 2000 Kodiak and I know its kinda late since I already bought it but I was wondering if you all felt it to be a great ATV for a first time rider.
The person I bought it from also had a Suzuki 2003 Eiger for sale but I went with the Yamaha because it was all ready for a plow and came with one along with the wench.

Let me know how you feel about the 200 Kodiak

Thanks in advance

I think you made a good choice. Kodiaks in general are great for beginners.

They are very reliable, the belt drive is one of the best if not the best system. The only thing I know of with the Kodiaks and other Yamaha's is they like their brake pads, I would check the brake pads and make sure they are clean so they last.
