I have a 1985 ymf 200 moto-4 that I am rebuilding the carb on. The manual states to set the float at 21plus or minus .5 It is really vague were to take the measurement. Can anyone help explain where I am taking the measurement from? I would guess it is from the carb split line but the float is tapered and I don't know where to measure at on the float itself, any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Anyone out there with carb. experience?

 

Usually you measure from the carb split to the float arm.
