Default 06 450er and my 05 ds650x CLOSE!

Well me and my cousin where racing on some fire roads at the badlands off road park and man we are so close. Both are stock. He whips my a*# off the holeshot BIG time.Shoots about 6 lengths ahead of me(while im sitting spinning) and then about 4th gear im right next to him.5th i think i could edge by him barely. And this is with stock crappy otshu tires and his crap stockers too.Its close.Guess i need too do modding real fast he got a dmc alien pipe.I bought a k&n airfilter. But i need to do something else.I bought a 14-tooth sprocket so i can keep up with him on the holeshot. He will beat me with the pipe on now.(but he never rejetted after the pipe!)Its all in good fun though.

cool, it sounds like you were spinning a lot, maybe better tires is all you need, or sit back farther on the seat. I wish there was a good place to race at badlands.

I may be wrong but I believe the stock wheels are 10" so no they won't fit. IF they are 20x11x10 then they should fit. But if your wheels are by chance 9" than they will fit.

Stock front wheels are 10" rears are 9". I would go with something taller than 20" however for ground clearance purposes.

So then a 20x11x9 would fit then right if the rear rims are a 9inch correct. Not very good about rims&tire measurements.

I ran 22" on my DS at badlands, never had a problem with ground clearances, but if you get 22s you should get 23s for the front. I think I razors would be a good choice. I run razor 2's at badlands, on the YFZ over all a good tire but out there radials hook up much better.
