Hi, got a 01 660 raptor that I cant get to quit spark knocking, even with premium, and it bone stock. Person over at raptortranny forum said it is probably carbon buildup on the piston, if that is the problem, I plan on cleaning it saturday, is there anyway I can re-use the headgasket? i doubt it, but I thought id ask, also any other suggestons on the spark knock?

 

Gaskets are cheep..always get new ones..or you mite be doing it all over again....If i was you..I would go ahead and take the pistion out..and bore it just a little and new piston..if you have the money...
