I just got a grizzly and the axles kinda are trying to start to rust and i rub it off hard before it really starts to rust. What would be a good thing to spray on it that will keep it rust proof before it starts to get real rusted.

Try cleaning the visible parts with alcohol...Brandy is a good start!
Once all the muck & grime is cleared, mask for over-spray. Use an aerosol type cold process galvanising spray paint in thin layers, drying between coats.
I'm not sure if it's available in your state due to emmissions and so on, if not, Google it.
It'll leave a nice aluminium finish and is quite resiliant to wear. Just be careful to not use solvent based fluids to clean the sprayed parts as it'll clean the spray off again.

Sand the rust off and go to autozone, they have some stuff called rust converter that come in a plastic bottle you can paint brush it on that turns the rust into a sandable primer! I've used it for small chipped paint on my truck it really work's for automotive paint work and i also used it on the rack's of my ATV ! I used it on the brake rotor's on my new AC 400 TRV , the stuff is expensive but worth the money in the long run.................williebee
