It seems like a few dealers are blowing them out at $5000 OTD, I'm trying for $4700 anyone get this deal or anything close?

I bought mine for $3800. It was a repo from the bank though. It was to good of a deal to pass up. My buddy bought one right before i did a couple months ago and he paid $6200!! They still have 05's in stock? they should be blowing out the 06's by now.

 

yea some of the dealers still have the 05's still in stock surprisingly I have seen them around for about 5k and if you are a good wheel and dealer you can prob get them down some money and maybe get a helmet or equipment thrown in since they get them for alot cheaper so try and work a deal with them and find out but even at 5 thats still a descent price since it is new its just an 05 but who cares.

 

ya i seen 05 up here in mass brand new. not that particular model . but is their any difference from the 05-07 performance wise?

 

yep checnged pretty much everything not alot but a little frame,engine,etc

 

My local dealer doesn't have it in stock but they can still order it from their warehouse.

I found a dealer 180mi away that will go $4850 OTD but I went with my local dealer for $5k he showed me the dealer price and it was $5800 -$900 in incentives, I also called 3 dealers that are 60mi away and none of them would touch $5k.

As for a comparison of the 05 and 06/07 450R the 06/07 will blow it away but I'm getting older and my last quad was a 99 400ex and the power on that was fine after I added a pipe and air filter, this bike should be substantially faster stock and I will buy a pipe and filter within the next couple of months.
