How much bottom end do you get dropping to a 12 tooth counter shaft sprocket? How much top end do you loose with it? Can you still beat a DS with it?

My 12 made a big difference. Brought 2nd down some and can lug it at lower speeds. Have not had enough room to run through all gears, but I am not interested in top end. Changed from the 12 to a 11 last night but have only run it down the alley. Going this afternoon to see what a difference it made.

I put the 12 tooth on my raptor and it made a big difference. In the woods it is alot better, less clutching. I notised alittle topspeed drop but for what I do it is fine. it still blows a 400 away. Not sure about the DOG Sh IT I mean DS no one rides them around hear because they are to wide and heavy like the lunch lady.......

I bought from Sprocket Specialists. The part number is a 504.
Specify the size you want. I bought an 11 and 12. They are $12.99 each
plus shipping.

Ran my Raptor yesterday with the 11 tooth and it is great. Like it much better than the 12 for the climbing and trails. First responds better and breaks the tires loose easier when in a bind. I think it is much easier to ride. I'm sure I lost some hole shot because of the tires breaking loose and the shorter first gear but I think it will "still" out run my friends bored and piped Banshee. 2nd-5th pull great with the close ratios. It just gets it on so much faster.
