There is no comparison in the jumping ability between the Banshee and the 400Ex. You need to decide what you do more of. If you really like to jump and rally with other riders go with the 400Ex. On the other hand if you want to go up and down a hill or drag race all day, the banshee would be your best choice. They are two different bikes, so the decision should be realitivly easy. If you want the best of both worlds find a 250R with mods. Good luck.

Don't worry about jumping-worry about LANDING!! You can jump a bus easy, but try to land it!! There is no comparison. The She flies nose heavy and the stock suspension is terrible.

go with the 400EX if u wanna jump. its very feathery floaty in the air. very soft landings too. banshee is ok but sees front heavy and the suspendion isn't nearly as good. the banshee is a lot faster though.

I happen to have both of these quads and in jumping there is no comparison between the two, the 400ex wins hands down. At times when it kinks to a side, i have no problem straightening it out in the air. The banshee feels a bit heavy in the air however makes up for its awkward flights with its trememdous engine. Despite its landings in (stock form mind you) the banshee is possibly the funnest quad I have ever ridden.
