Hi Guys. Well I have owned my DS650 Baja since 2004. Since then I have noticed that the steering has gotten eaiser and eaiser to turn. Its not worn just broken in. The problem is that when I go on bumpy long out runs its kind of dangerous having the handle bars wanting to turn out of your hands. I want to get a steering stablizer to tighten up the steering. I found one on Rocky Mountain.com made by percision but its $500.00. Holy crap Batman! Is there any other route I can go here or just by the darn thing? Thanks, Derek

 

I bought 2 similar to this one and they work well although 1 of them needs rebuiling.

Over the years of buying many different quads and aftermarket parts, including various steering stabilizers, I have found out you get what you pay for. I will only run the small compact stabilizers like PRP as I feel they work A LOT better. I'm considering the new Elka stabilizer for my DS650 to go with the Elka Elite shocks I recently ordered. God damn berlin new jersey am I glad someone lives near me the next town over...wow and you have a ds650 thats another first besides me in this area...I live in marlton maybe I will cya around sometime you know where the airport is if so I ride trials round there...I haven't gotten a stabalizer yet but you get used to the trails after a while and know where every little bump is maybe we will have to catch up sometime riding. If you know where kettle run road is the airport is right off of there its all sand just about and there are a few good trails in tabernacle...I was hoping to take my ds and go to atco sometime but I want to rebuild the engine first...If you stop by gary at Dag's powersports right where the Berlin circle(mess) is I buy alot of parts from him and he knows alot so stop by he usually gets parts pretty quick but can be pricey at times so just keep an eye on it since he adds money to get a profit also...Its right near Hollywood tans in thats small shopping center next to the storage place.
