Map 1 has the most advancement and highest rev limit. The traction curves 3 and 4 you might want to try, It will give you a bit more low end umph.

Can I run 87 octane with Map 1... or will that add too much advance with the combination of the two... stock piston and cams. Thanks.

Not sure about the octanes. I ran at a minimun premium fuel at all times. We even jumped to a mix of premium and 110 on stock compression and gained a little safty when running in the massive changing conditions of the Oregon coast....I leave mine on map 1 at all times and love the difference it made. Never hurt a thing. And yep, big boy here also

Big boy here too. When I got mine Randall (can I say the name safely here) told me just leave it on setting 1 (bike was mostly stock at that point, ran 87 octane). I, of course, tried all the others, but always came back to 1. Took the switch off the handlebars too, no need for it.

I wanting to run down the street to see what the other settings do so far stock is 01 and I have 03 for teh second setting.
Plus what the hey is Traction Settings is that low end torque?? thats 02, 03, 04 setting with 8350 RMP
then there is Linear Power settings 05, 06 at 8350 RPM
now there is performence map 07 same as 01 except a RPM 8100 vs 8900
Standard map 08 RPM 8100
Standard map 09 RPM 8400
Standard map 00 RPM 8600
And you can have them reprogramedfor higher RPM I dont know what the cost are to do so Duncan and some guy in Riverside can do it.
