Default Anybody weigh their DS650?

Hey guys-
I'm curious who has actually got their DS on a scale for an accurate wet weight? I had an 01 DS which weighed 460 lbs according to Bombardier. Are the newer models actually heavier as advertised, or were the older models heavier than advertised?

I have not had my bike on the scales... she hates scales just like me... but 460 for a DS seems really light. Its right around 500 no matter what year , maybe 490 for the lighter years. I always figured 500... but that was before she started on a diet.

lol, everybody always talks about how their DS weighs 350 lbs or something like that. I am here to tell you that if you use an accurate scaling system, a 445 lb DS is a light DS. I had to do a couple thousand dollers worth of upgrades to get mine down to that weight and based on the stock weight BRP gave out, I thought I was at about 415, lol.

These things are heavy!!!

Ya right, thats lighter than a blaster, how can you get a ds650 to lose 170lbs, even 70lbs weight loss is a miracle, di you get like a pure titanium or pure aluminum frame,

if you can get your ds to lose 170lbs for only 2700, tell me exactly how you did it and i will do the same to my ds250, cuz i would love having a 260lb quad, i could actuall wheelie then
