Oregonians! Help Bring the Quadbike Bill to Life
#1
Well, here goes nothing......
I am in a wrestling match with ODOT to legalize street quads (quadbikes). This is nothing new to the good 'ol USA. There are several states that already have done this and it has afforded many farmers, ranchers and commuters a fuel efficient and unique mode of transportation that is inherently more stable than a scooter or some motorcycles. I have sent petitions far and wide, but we are now at a new level of capturing signatures. I am also supporting GG North America (November Dirtwheels profiled BMW based street Quadricycle) and have a state rep sponsoring the Bill at the next congressional session.
There is a website to document petition signatures for the Oregon Quadbike Bill. Please forward this link to as many Oregonians as possible. http://www.oregonquadbike.com
ATV'ers represent a significant presence in the Northwest. If they were to find merit in my effort and galvanize into action, I know we can push this through. I know some are still hesitant and may not entirely agree with the concept. To those, you have my respect and understanding. This will not be everyone's cup of tea, but other states have successfully done this action without the sky falling. We can and should be next. Please support me.
Best wishes to all my friends,
