I love the Burgard a-arms, they're built awesome. I thought about the Wickeds too, but there's just something I don't trust about how the only place you can buy them is on ebay. The only thing I really didn't like about these is that you have to ream out the spindles, but it wasn't a big deal because the local shop did it for me for like 10 bucks. Burgard Cycle is only about 30 minutes away from me, so I picked them up straight from their shop and got a heck of a deal on them, and they even custom made me some honda-style +2 chromoly tie rods to work with the stronger tie rod ends I got.

I guess I can let you in on my secret. It may sound kinda dumb, so don't laugh at me and hurt my feelings
It's cardboard from a cereal box cut to just slightly overlap the edge around the light gap, then about 5 coats of black spray paint, then another 10 or so coats of plastic clear coat. It might as well be made out of plastic now, it's perfectly waterproof. I just mounted it on there with some 3M electrical tape, which actually worked out pretty good because it both holds it down, and blends the edges together to make it all look like one piece.
