What are you guys getting mileage/range wise on your Outlander 800's?

I just got done with about a 4.5 hour ride Sunday, 54 miles and my fuel light came on about 51 miles, the guage is down to the last bar. Even if there is lets say a 1 gallon reserve left, thats only 54 miles on about 4.5 gallons.....is that right? We were mountain riding, some steep climbs, some rocky stuff.......a few wide open fire roads and some slow tight stuff, pretty good mixture of riding. Thats only about 12 mpg.....My Dodge Ram gets better then that with a 5.7 hemi......good grief! Anyone know what kind of range AFTER that light comes on?

 

if you fill up at half tank it only will take about 1 1/2 gallons, you can run on 2 bars quite a ways, depending on how hard we ride my buddy with the wood kit can ride 70-90 miles on a tank. wcs said he averages about 22mpg on his 800max.
