Default 2004 330 trailboss bigger tires

i want to put bigger tires on my trailboss. I fugured out how this can be done with an oversized wheel adapter i made. any ideas on how to get the power i need to support the change? Was thinking of puting in pink or white primary clutch springs! and posibly upgrading the intake and exhaust for more breathability! any comments would be great. I dont want to risk the chance of over reving the 329 though. how can i acheive this goal?

It seems like you've got the all the basics (intake/exhaust/clutch) the only thing i can think of is plug and wire. I've seen alot of people have been putting the white spring in, or getting "heel clickers". Sorry I can't offer you anymore advice.

Ok, what kinda wheels are those and who makes em? can you give me tire sizes and how did you get the wheels to fit on the hubs? did you replace the front hubs? I wont copycat your style but i like it, looks great man!! ill do somthin similar. did you make any drivetrain mods and engine mods to support the larger tire diameters? if you could give me some specs on what you did that would be very helpfull.

The rear bolt pattern is called a 4/4. The front is standard Polaris 4/157 bolt pattern. I found some 12" 4/4 ITP wheels for the rear of my 2004 TB. The part number is ITP C-SRS RIM 12X7 4/4 ALUM #12C114. Call your local Polaris dealer and ask them for the ITP wheels for the TB make sure you stress that they are for a TB and the rear bolt pattern is 4/4 not the standard Polaris 4/157 or whatever it is. They had to order mine from ITP it was the only 12" wheel they could get that would fit the 2004 TB. You can see these in my pics'.

I am running a UNI air filter a 42 tooth sprocket and a HSP clutch kit. I could not find a heel clicker kit for the TB. I am currently in the process of drilling the baffels out of my stock exhaust and installing a Dynojet kit. If you buy the Dynojet kit for you carb. BE VERY CARFUL when you try to remove the plug over the air mix screw. I drilled the top of mine and now I can't get it out. The bevel on the drill bit they supplied with the kit was into the screw before it broke all the way through the plug. MAJOR PROBLEM!

As far as clutch mods go there is a guy on here goes by "ftwflh" who seems very knowledgeable about these clutches.

Hey ryryviper. What exactly is the "gas box" you have listed in your mods?

I have a black front rack box that fits three 1.25gal gas tanks and i have a homade gas tank made of aluminum that fits underneath that one, it holds 3 gal and is connected to the main fuel switch. so ill never run out of gas. i like to custom make a lot of misc stuff for my quad. when i get an idea i go with it and see how it works on it. ill be taking the 3gal homade one off soon, not a real need for that much spare fuel. but ill keep it around for a while in case i need it.

Talk to Rick at Ritter Cycle and he can suggest some things for the engine.

I'd go with a full clutch kit, and not just a spring as well. More expensive, but will get you more power out of your clutch.

do you know how lukester got the front wheels on that TB? did the rim fit on stock hubs or are the hubs aftermarket?
