Default 300ex aftermarket exhaust

I was wondering what you guys all thought. I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my 1997 300ex. I have a K and N filter but other than that it is basically stock. I don't ride it as much as I would like, but I want some more power. I would really like a 400ex, but I don't think it's worth selling this and rebuying when I don't ride as much as I would like. I have always liked White Brother's pipes, would it be a bad idea to buy a used white brothers eseries slip on? How much do you think one would cost me? Would I want a header with that as well or just use it as a slip-on. Or should I look at something like the FMF powercore and just get the full exhaust for about $250? What do you guys think, any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated...

well whatever your budget will pay for I would recommend a full exhaust like the e series or hmf and you need to rejet so make sure you get a jet kit

The stock header is pathetically small. When I bought a PowerCore for my 300, it came with a header (and FMF didn't even charge extra for it!).

How did you like the powercore pipe for your 300ex? How many HP do you think you gained?

I couldn't put a number on it, but the power increase was noticeable. I also did a vented airbox lid and UNI air filter.
