Rightway ATV?
#1
Does anyone have any experience with Rightway ATV and their products? A search did not turn up anything. Both they and their proudces seem reasonable for Chinese stuff, and prices are very good. Possibly looking for a med sized quad for a couple of 9 year olds. Who knows - maybe even me too.

Rightway ATV and ScooterTown of Richardson TX are the same company.

Sounds like they are trying to confuse themselves with Raceway by sounding alike? If you're going Chinese....until further notice, go with Raceway. Remember, with these, it is the support afterwards that counts...not the initial savings. SEADAWG

A friend of mine purchased two units from the company you mentioned. My buddy has little mechanical ability and I told him to stick with a name brand atv but he didn't listen. He left me a message two hours after trying to get the atv's started all pissed off. Somehow he did manage to get them running though. I saw the quads last weekend for the first time. They were badged "Eagle 150's" I believe. The motor and trans appear similar to the Kazuma brand with a CVT drive. The suspention was on the stiff side but the shocks did have a reservoir set up. The front stance was wide but the rear axel was too narrow and requires spacers. They were mid size atvs with a short wheel base thus a little squirrely in soft sand. But the construction appeared fairly decent for the price he paid. Some of the normal chinese atv issues, bolts loosened up, carb cleaning/adjusting etc. but again not a bad unit for the price and a lot of these issues would have been non-existent if he knew what he was doing and spent the time going through the machines during the initial set up. The first thing I asked him was are there parts available? The dealer told him they were Honda clones and parts could be matched up at a local Honda dealer - he believed it but I didn't. Other than that not a bad beginner atv, but the parts thing would steer me away. If you can do your own wrenching, stick with the Redcats or Jetmoto otherwise buy name brand.

i think i made a serious mistake sending them a money order.
they do not answer phone calls and they do not reply to any emails. i sent in my money oder over 2 weeks ago. i cannot even verify that they have recieved it.
im going up to dallas this weekend, driving about 400 miles to take care of this matter with them personnaly. im telling you one thing right now, this is all the money i had to make a nice christmas for my boy. im not going to lose one cent of this money.
this weekend i will be in someones face.

Appreciate the input. Good local dealers are tough to find, so I am not too concerned about long distance service. But do want to deal with peopl w hat will at least be honest. And want unit that is of reasonable quality. If prices are too low- i'm skeptical. I e-mailed Rightway - asked them what brand their ATV's were. They said they were Loncin. Loncin seems to be a respectable brand - more or less. Not sure their units looked like Loncin - visually or spec wise.
I'm in no rush to buy anything - just may hold out for a nice used Japanese unit.
