Default raptor electrical?????

First of all i've searched and couldn't find anything close enough to help with my problem. So i'm out in the ocala trails and just riding along at a descent pace when the rap just dies. I checked the fuse and it is blown. I put a spare fuse in and it immediately blows. Now i'm in the middle of the forest and have to pull off some mcgyver stuff to get back. I find an old soda can and use part of the cap to bridge where the fuse goes making a good connection. whala it works and im off. When i get back to camp and turn off my key i get nothing. The key remains on even in the off position. So i turn it off with the kill switch and test fire it back up. Right now the key doesn't work it stays on in either position. I can put a fuse in now and it doesn't blow. I can turn it on and off using the kill switch. I swapped the ignition switch with a different one and no change. Anyone with information please help. Thanks.

Well, when your fuse was blowing out, that was a sign that something was wrong, not that you needed to rig it up to make it work. You had a short somewhere, and when you bypassed that fuse, you probably melted the wiring somewhere in your harness, which basically bypassed your key switch. Either pull your wiring harness apart and look for the damage (could be more than 1 spot) or just take it to a dealer and let them look for it. At this point, it's not something that can really be diagnosed any further over the internet.
