Hey, right now i am deciding on where to get my cylinder bored (i have an 87mm 10:8:1 JE piston)

One shop want's 70 bucks for a bore!!! WHAT is wrong with the world today!! MONEY HUNGY JIG's!

This is way to much right? What should i expect to pay for a 2mm bore??

Also, i have been so busy lately (Christmas), and i can't find time to get the the honda shop, so where can i order 400ex top end gasket sets? and an XR400 cam?

One more question, do i have to get an XR400 head gasket if i get an XR400 cam? someone in this forum said something like that, is this correct? or can i get away witht he stock 400ex head gasket?

I wanna ride!!

later

PS: The new name is because i had to reboot my computer, and i lost my password, and i had the information on another e-mail that is unavalible for use. later

Yes, that's about double what it should cost...

Try www.servicehonda.com for your parts.

No you don't have to use an XR head gasket... People doing so are in search of a bit more compression, the bad effect is that it will throw a little extra slop into your timing chain, which already seems to wear fast on the EX...
