got a 2005 kodiak with less than 200 miles was bought recently as left over,recently started to bog and sputter at mid throttle checked air box found oil in box checked plug it was dark black,i installed new filter and plug and it runs good till it gets hot any suggestions? before i bring it to the shop and it was not submereged or flipped

 

Never heard of that....sounds kinda bad

 

Do your differential vent lines run up by your air intake on the Kodiak? If they do, I'll bet that's your problem. Search my past posts for a fix.
