Default need aftermarket tie rods for an 06 grizz

whats up fellas,

I bent one tie rod and straightened it out on a vice, the other night i busted the otherside completely off at the threads and flew off the quad like a torpedo. Been looking for aftermarket ones but keep finding tie rod ends not the complete tie rod with ends.

Anyone know where i can get the strongest tie rods for my grizz? thanks.

I'm not sure if anyone makes stronger after market tierods.... They're just one of those inexpensive pieces that you'd rather have bend, instead of possibly ruining something else more expensive, like the spindle or the steering stem.

If I were you, I'd look more into preventing it, by putting the yamaha aluminum a-arm skids on. They were the highest ones I found, providing much better protection. (all the way up to the 06 model. The ones for the 07 700 don't provide as much protection) I went Ricochet for the belly skids... but the yamaha a-arm skids were much better than other aftermarket ones that I saw.

ok thanks man, guess ill give my local dealership a call. But i think my problem is running a 27x12x12 tire up front, that an aftermarket wheels which makes my tires alomost stick 4" out from the fenders. Quad looks like a little mini jeep, lol.

gonna try to get my 27x12x12's put on my stock rims so they are recessed in. Riding in snow i hit deep holes hard and fast that was covered in snow which im thinking what damaged the rods.
