I just bought my first honda last week and I am having trouble with the 90. After it warms up and I shut the choke off it will not run past idle. If you give it any gas at all it just sputters and wants to die. It doesn't matter how much throttle you give it. I was looking for the mixture adjustment and what I can see it takes a special tool to adjust. I made something work and went both rich and lean and nothing helped. Please give me some help with this the kids are not happy. Thanks

 

I would take it back to the dealer if possible. They should have checked all this out when you purchased it, at least that's what the Honda dealer did when I purchased my son's 06 TRX 90 over a year ago.

Make sure that the air restrictor is not in place at the air filter. It's a rubber piece that fits over the air inlet to restrict the engine speed.

 

lol, i know the problem, take ur seat off.... where the air filter is take the lid off and look at it theres gonna be a little cap, its cutting the air off, take the cap off, and it will go perficly......
