WHAT ATV TO CHOOSE??
#1
I might be getting a new ATV by the spring(no later), and I have a few options but I'm having a hard time choosing....first I ride on dirt trails, mud, grass, snow and on the road(shhh!!) I will use it to work a bit also maybe plow snow. I am 15 5ft 11 1/2in. 185lbs.
I have a few choices.....Honda 300 4x4, Arctic-cat 300 and 400 4x4's, Yamaha Wolverine 4x4. I want something fast but to be able to go through mud...so the wolverine looks good for me.
Ohh I also want a quad that will beat my friends Yamaha 350 big bear 2x4. will the wolverine beat it??
Any suggestions or comments??

hey dude im glad you finally get another quad, its a great feeling aint it.
i have no experiance with any of these quads so i have no idea what to tell you. but i do know the wolvorene has the same motor as a warrior. but as long as you got a motor and four wheels you will have fun

There are only a few 4x4 that can hit 60 mph and the Wolverine is one of them the others are both Polaris Scamblers,Sportsman 500 (H.O only),600 Grizzly and 400 Xplorer.Your fiends Big Bear would be lucky to hit 47 mph. The down side of the Wolverine is it cost alot for its size and lack of features such as full time 4wd and air cooled motor.I think it cost about the same as a liguid cooled selectable 4wd 400 Kodiak and 500 Polaris Magnium. The upside of the Wolverine to me is it is the lightest 4x4 you can but ,it's even lighter than all the 250 cc 4x4s made and has long travel suspension.
