ok, so im looking to mod my GFs 01' TB for x-mas. i have added a secondary spring to her ATV from EPI. i ordered the pink one. i was very happy with its performance gains, as was she. now its time to get a little more power out of the old TB. on EPI's website it has all these numbers for the springs and what not. wtf do they mean? also what kind of primary spring should i get? should i leave it stock? has anyone installed their WE412500 kit? were you pleased with the performance gains? another possible thing is an exhaust. what would a good brand/ website be to find something other than a POS DG pipe? i dont like DG. let me know what i should do. any advice is appreciated.

 

You need to call and talk to Rick Ritter at Ritter cycle. He specializes in Polaris Mods. Also check out HPD-INC.com, aaenperformance.com, hotseatperformance.com. There are tons of mods that you can do to the 250. Mine was able to beat piped 400's. So depending on how much you want to spend Ritter would be your best bet for a whole kit.

 

Ditto on calling Rick Ritter he can set you right up with his stage1 kit and you will be pleased.
When you get your kit you can sell your EPI pink spring to anyone with a stock 325 or 330 and they will be happy too.That spring is more for 4strokes than 2strokes.

 

if the pink spring is more for 4 strokes, what is a good epi spring for a 2 stroke?

 

I am not big on EPI but for the TB250 a EPI red is good9same as Polaris white)
