Would you remove a picture of three football players standing on the sidelines because their names sound funny together. Didn't happen here, it was somewhere else. But I'm so mad that if I were to meet this guy right now...well it's just a forum so I wouldn't do anything rash. But I probably would try to push his buttons and see what happens. I can't believe this guy is such a moron!!! You should see all the avatars on that site that are soft core ****, and he removes a completely innocent avatar.

I would say that being a moderator has got to be the most thankless internet job on the planet. I bet that most don't get paid much, if at all.

Most message boards are free or virtually no cost (like this one), some have thousands of posts every day. Many are moderated via keywords but mistakes can be made. I know that I've been banned at other sites just by posting in a thread that got out of hand, no big deal. If you have a real problem just PM the moderators - If their action against you was an oversight, they will fix it, if you're trying to be a smart-a$$, they'll shut you down. We are basically guests on these boards, most of which have a few basic rules. Ya break the rules and you can expect a response. Just because some things don't get caught doesn't give everyone a free ride.

Bottom line is that it's an internet message board. While there is lots of good information and good people here, there's lots of BS too. Sifting through all that to keep things running smoothly and fairly has got to be a chore.

It wasn't a mistake, it may have just been because it was late and he was tired. On that particular site, many people's avatars's can be considered soft core pornographic material and mine with football players gets removed. I know it's normally a thank-less job, but that site is mostly adults and respectable teens. So people aren't a-holes just for the sake of being a-holes, which is probably why some of those avatars fly. The mods over there are usually pretty reveared. One of the most "respectable" and well-known members over there commented on my photo, saying she loved it. And this is a late 40's early 50's woman, so I dodn't know why this huy would have found it offensive. I've PM'd him and his boss, no response.

What did the names say?
It's possible that someone else saw the image and was either offended by it or thought it was inapropriate and reported it.

Well, this board is less tolerant and I didn't even think it would be a problem on the other board as it was actual football players.

They were: Moore, Goode, and let's call the last guy "Richard". There's a guy over there named "Richard"head, so I don't know what gives.
