Was wondering what parts of the atc 250r will work on a atv 250r? Are the engines the same? Can I use the brake calipers and rotors? How bout the masters? Please help with all parts I can interchange.

the motor and the rear end is not the same but will work on either (atc motors are geared differant and kick a**)

 

I did this with my 86 ATC250R/87 TRX250R.
You can use the axle, carrier, rear caliper, complete engine, carb, all electronics except for head light, bars, levers, cables, rear shock(if you lengthen the hose), thumb throttle, and front master cylinder.
