Need to replace Tires... I have had experience with CArlisle Trail Wolf and liked them, but I am thinking of going with the Titan 489 from Carlisle this time.

Anyone have any thoughts on these two?


Also, would it be alright to increase the width of the tires by one size for the rear... 25 X 11 X 12? How about the front?

489s are a good all around inexpensive tire. go for the XTs if you can, 6 ply instead of 4.

radials would improve the ride, if you can afford them.

I would not increase the size of the front as it just adds to wear and tear on the front end components and increases steering effort.

My next set of tires will be 25s too. 26s roll a bit in hard cornering.

 

What are some tires that are Radials? I would need good all around tire.. similar to the trial wolf or the 489s.

I had read somewhere that the trial wolf was radial, but I dont think they are... are they?
