I just bought a new 2006 polaris 500 x2 this summer, love it but i orderd bumpers for it.
got my front one polaris part # 2875173-418, and rear 2874608-067, to my suprize they stop making the rear bumper why ????? I found a quadboss front bumper that will work as a rear bumper part# 56-9696 classique bumper. But as before the mounting brackits that i have won't work with it and quadboss dosent make a kit for the 2006 x2.

If any one knows where i can find the mounting kit i need, and or if you or some one has the parts list / picture that came with thw oem bumper or could have pictures of the mounts that are on there x2 please do not hesatate to email them to me , i would and will appericate all that i recive. if i can not buy what i need i have no problem making them and have no problem with geting the steel i need due to where i am and work in and with steel all day.

WTF, who makes a quad with no rear bumper avaiable!!! I thought I could get one as an accessory from Polaris, bit of a let down....

I bought a bumper off ebay, and bought the mounts for a 500 polaris.

i had to modify them by adding a pice of .195 grade 3 flat plate steel and welded them together. i have some pictures able sent to me if you enlarge the pic you can see how he fixed his and thats kinda how i fixed mine , if you want i can send thoes pictures to you in a zip file i will enlarge the best one where you can see just how to fix it . and yes you can use the dump bed with it " some one said no but yes u can"

i dont have the exact mesurments , if you are good with a welder or know some one who is or has the tools, it would be nothing to fix a set .
