400 foreman engine mods

Default 400 foreman engine mods


looking for info on possible big bore kit for my 98 400 foreman wanting to put on 26,s with lift kit this spring .also needing to rebuild carb. do those carb upgrade kits really give additional power

Check with Highlifter.com to see if they can help you with a big bore kit. The carb kits aren't going to do much unless your running really lean or rich now. You need to add a pipe or something to see any gains.

Your stock Foreman is very valuable if running well and in original stock condition. Nothing you do to a stock 400 Foreman will significantly improve performance at a reasonable price. I would just sell it while still valuable and stock and go shopping for something better matching your needs. If you should go searching for more engine performance then you will need suspension help next and it becomes a never ending money pit. Been there and done that.

Did I forget to mention the hard life it had this one needs new plastics frt & rr wiring wrk [ neutral switch bypsd & various other gremlins ] my son has begged me to sell. I am a auto tech by trade. I,ve talked him into this being a fun project for us. PUSH IT TILL IT EYES BUG OUT attitude
