The 800 let me down today
#1
Well I decided to go muzzleloader hunting today and loaded the 800 on the trailer. It started right up, no problems. Drove the 1/2 hour to where I hunt and when I got there, it was a no go. It turns over great, just won't fire up. Needless to say I was muttering a few cuss words while I was WALKING to my stand. I haven't had time to look it over yet, I'm hoping it's just the plug. It only has 40 miles on it, so that seems unlikely to me, but I've seen stranger...Take care, Mike

Really wow that sucks. I have an can-am 800 as well the only problem I have had with it is the battery keeps going dead for no reason. Something is drawing amps but the dealer can't figure it out.
Sorry I cannot be more help.

One good thing about the whole deal is that I was planning on taking it in for its 10 hour check-up today, so I'll let the dealership figure it out. I will keep you all posted...Thanks for the tips, the fuel pump is kicking on and the motor sounds strong turning over

Well, nothing major, it was the sprark plug...go figure. I would have thought you could get a year on a plug, being fuel injected and a four stroke...I'm just glad it was nothing major...Take care...Mike

good it was something simple. 9 months and 1600 mi with no problems, other than foggy speedo sometimes.this is for the guy who battery is dischargeing, check your battery and see if its good, also check to see if you have voltage going to ground using a meter.

No Cardiac, I didn't see anthing that resembled a deer. I do know that the squirrel population is alive and well. The weather has been so warm here, I think the deer have gone nocturnal. Take care...Mike
