Default Anyone running a 16T sprocket on 400ex?

I'm just wondering if I can get away with changing my stock (15T) sprocket to a 16T without running into any clearance issues. Some people say yes, and some say you need to get an aftermarket case saver. I'd like an honest answer from someone who knows from experience. Thanks

I don't think the stock case saver will fit in there. I have an aftermarket saver and the 16 fits in, barely.

cool man, thanks. Guess I'll go with a 36t rear sprocket instead, to avoid clearance issues.

I have a 450r and I went up a tooth in the front... It didnt fit stock I just ground down the case saver until it worked, I had to take about 1/8 of an inch off but just ground it down and I am lovin the extra top speed.

The 36 in the rear is alot better. It isn't as much gain in top speed, but gives more ground clearance. If you are running a skid plate it give more room for the plate to bend before hitting the chain.
