Default Limited slip front diff on 300 4x4

I have seen some other bigger models have a limited slip in the front then with the pull of a lever it is locked.

Is there a way to do that on my bayou 300 4x4?

What you have seen is a front differential lock - most of the big bore 4x4's have them. Your Bayou does not - it has a regular limited slip front dif. You can add a locker to most 4x4's.

I am aware that it was a selectable locker. Heck I have a ARB selectable locker in my 4x4 truck. I was just hoping I could get one for the front of my Bayou.

you could likely swap out the front diffy, but to the best of my knowledge, you can not convert your existing one to a selectable locker... however, IMO, the 300's front diffy is a more heavy duty unit, as it was designed as a full time 4 X 4...

however in this day... anything is possible... but more likely your stock diffy unit could be machined to lock / unlock, easier than it could be machined to accept a clutch pack locker like the newer units have...
