Default need help with 300 ex mods

Im sure this has been discussed but i couldnt find it so here it goes. I have a 300 ex and im wanting to do some swingarm mods. Basically i want to use a 400 ex swingarm but i need to know if it will bolt in place or not? I also want to know if the 400 ex swing arm is any longer then the 300 ex and is the 400 ex axle any wider then the 300 ex? If not then i will just go with the stock parts. Also, if anybody has any better suggestions or advice im all ears. Thanks, Nathan.

No. The 400 swinger will not bolt on. Yes the axle is wider. (or longer however your looking at it) No it does not just drop into the 300, BUT, it can if a spacer is made.

We run a 400 a-arms and shocks in front, and 1 1/2" wheel spacers in the back on a stock length Dureblue. I think the length is about right for trail riding.
