Desert Tire and Wheel Kit?
#1
I am in the market for buying tires and wheels and was wondering on what I should get? I am setting up my ds for desert racing and looking for extremely strong wheels to withstand just about anything and I am between the ITP prolocks and possibly having some done by OMF. Currently I am going to go with ITP holeshot HD's for tires. Any suggestions?

Most people I know that race out here go with OMF. It is spendy but will do a great job. Since I have no experience with ITP prolocks, I can't comment on their durability.
As for the Holeshot HD's, that's a good call. They work well and are real durable. I might also suggest spending the $$$ on some Tireballs as well. That is pretty much a must even with the HD's. You now see less and less time lost to blown tires and tire changes at pit stops because of Tireballs.
I think the team Epic/Can Am Renegade didn't have any tires go down on them at this year's 1000. That was unheard of before Tireballs.

Thanks for the info. So I just looked at the ITP website and it shows that they are no longer making the H-D's in 22". Also considering the XCT's due to being 22". Anybody know where I could order the OMF wheel/tire combos? None of the dealer websites have them on there.
