I have a new (350 miles) polaris 500 EFI. It works very well, however, there is a ringing noise, especially at low speeds. It does it in low or high, more prominent in high. It seems to increase as the bike warms up. It has just developed recently. Is this normal? I think it may be clutch related. The cold weather seems to make it worse.

 

I think my dads has the same problem. I wouldn't call it ringing but more like a high pitched constant squeaking? I don't know why it does it either.

 

That is it. It is rather annoying.
