I would like to know if anyone has used a 2006 Articat 400 ATV with manual tran to disk fire lanes and prepare food plots. I own one and I am considering the purchase of implements for this purpose. Do you think it would have a problem pulling a 450 pound ATV disk. I know it will pull. Tonight it pulled out a full size chevolet pickup, while in low range, buried up in a neighbors yard. We didn't crank up the RPM's, just let it slowly pull it out. The pickup helped some, but the ATV got it going.

Any comments from those that have used ATV implements would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have a 400 06TRV and have been pulling a trailer loaded w/ wood well in excess of 450lbs. No issue whatsoever and always pulling in low (i have auto). Very pleasantly suprised at how well it pulls.
I'd suggest waiting the recommended (owners manual) 100miles prior to doing any towing.
Specs on all AC's from 400-700 have the exact same towing capacity 1050 or 1020 something in that range. Should pull your implements just fine.
