I have used the belt from carlisle and it was junk. Went back to stock kawi. I know the first generation dayco belts were bad but have heard good things about the new dayco high performance belts. Until I hear some long term tests on the new dayco I would stick with the kawi belt.

Try as they might, the aftermarket still can't make a better belt than OEM.

Agreed. My stock belt has 1100 miles on it, with no wear yet. The Kawi belt is as good as it gets

Agreed the Kawi belts are the best they have a kevlar core and the after market belts use some kind of cotten core thats what I was told by a guy that tested all of the belts on His Dyno machine with his milled clutch set up.

OEM belts for me only!!! I had a dayco on my KFX and it chewed it up in 4 months. Ive fun OEM belts for periods of a year and a half and never had a problem. They are the only way to go as of right now.
