I just got finished putting on my new skid plates. Before I started my brute up i checked the oil. It had what looked like a little bit of milkyness to it on the bottom of the dipstick. I have never had it in more than 15 inches of water, and that has been like six months ago. It has had 3 oil changes since then. I went out with some buddies in the snow on saturday and got stuck in the snow. Is there anyway that the snow could have affected it. Advice will be greatfull.

 

Much moisture in the air box?Any big changes in air temps.My son's bayou sits alot in the winter and builds up moisture.

 

I looked in my air box and it is dry. I hope I have not caused any damage. I plan on changeing the oil on friday. I guess I will need to flush it with some cheap stuff first.

 

Nice bike you have first of all and milkiness can be something other than water, it could be a sign of antifreeze leaking into the engine from a bad seal...I would check to make sure that everything is sealed up nice and tight making sure no water can get in the engine and check the oil plug on the bottom making sure it is tight, dipstick to make sure it seals all the was,and if there are no signs then check to see if there is an antifreeze problem.

 

one other thing is it might be getting in where the belt is
