Well if your quad is camo then black wheels always look nice. What works best tho is really up to you, its a personal choice. I can suggest ITP Type 4, and Type 7 rims in black. Also Vision Rims has a Type 161 rim in black. As far as tires, you probably would want to go up to a 26" tire, will lose some power but not as much as a 27". I would stay with a 12x7 rim, a 14" rim would narrow your choices of tires down quite a bit and are more expensive.
As far as tires there are lots of good choices, depending on how much you want to spend. I know ppl who like Swamplites, 589's, Bearclaws, etc etc. Hopefully someone with more tire experience will chime in.
Hope this helps.

Well the douglas rattlesnake rims aren't black, they are polished/black background correct me if I am wrong? If you like the rattlesnakes I am sure they would work fine. Really, it is such a personal choice I hate to tell you if it would work or not. Some ppl hate putting shiny rims on a camo bike, others love it. If you like the rattlesnakes by all means go for it tho, altho if the quad is going to be used for hunting the 'shinyness' of the rattlesnakes might not be a good thing. Since deer and some small game don't see in colours, but in shades, its not so much the colour but the brightness that makes the difference. But if you cover your bike when you hunt it wouldn't matter much either way lol.
But I am rambling on here, see if you can look at a set at your dealer or somewhere in person before you buy to see if you like them. I find things sometimes look very different in person than they do online or in pics(sometimes good/sometimes bad).

True it is my choice,I am not a hunter bought the camo cause I liked it,truth I never liked the stock wheels and tires,I was thinking this rattlesnakes would not be too much because it has a black background.I am looking for a dealer here that has a selection, just cant pick from the internet.

The Black ITP Type 7 wheels with 26" Dirt Devil tires that you see here on my Brute Force are now on my '07 Ducks Unlimited Grizzly and they look great. I sold the Brute after I got the Grizzly, but I kept the wheels / tires. The wheels do not rub the brake assembly either (some aftermarket wheels have this problem from what I've heard with the new Grizzly).
BTW, I also like the GBC Dirt Devil XTs (26" and larger) tires, they are relatively cheap, tough, slow wearing and a great general purpose tire. I noticed GBC has a "Dirt Devil 2" tire out now. It is possible this replaces the original Dirt Devil...

2TV thanks ,we have the same type Grizzly, yes the wheels look good on the brute force,I have been looking at them ,I had dirt devils on my Kodiak and they were great in the mountains.did the wheel and tires rob a lot of power from your Grizzly?are your dirt devils the xt's with the larger lugs?

07Grizzly, the only riding I did with my new Grizzly on the stock wheels / tires was to back it off of my truck. I then changed the wheels right on the spot so I never really got to experience this ATV with the stock tires on (unlike the other ATVs I've had where I got some mileage on the stockers before changing them).
Those are 26" XTs (with the larger lugs). The ATs are 25" and smaller, XTs are 26" and larger. I really don't think there would have been that much of a power loss going from the stockers to these 26" meats. If anything it might make a difference of a quad length or two on a 400' drag run on flat ground. However they are a noticable improvement in every other way; better traction, a little more ground clearance, more puncture resistant, less wear (harder rubber compound) and better handling (less tire flex). This of course is comparing these very same brand and size of tires and the effect it had on my old Grizzly and the Brute Force I used to have versus their stock tires which are of a similar 2 ply construction. On top of that the ITP wheels make the stance a little wider and that adds to the stability of the quad...

I have no exp w/ aftermarket tires/wheels but would like to get educated. I have seen that ITP type 7 12 inch wheels are all 7 inch wide for both front and rear but with variable offsets. Now the GBC Dirt Devil XTs are 26x10-12 front and 26x12-12 rear. So the 12 in. rear tires would be substantially wider than the 7 in. wheels.
So am I missing something here? How much wider can tires be than wheels before having problems?
