Default giovanni 49.9cc new front 13 tooth sproket

hi I got a giovanni 49.9cc quad and it went all rite I guess butt I just put on a new front sproket on the quad its a 13 tooth what a big diff it made way way better. The make is jtsprokets the code # is jtf252.13 and there is a 12 tooth one the code for it is jtf252.12 but you will have to customize the clip and use allan head bolts instead of hex and the other thing I did was put a snorkle on the wee little quad going to try it all out on the trail tomarow will let you know how it goes.
The next thing I'm going to do is make new a-arms for the front a a new swing arm for the rear should make for a better ride I would think. thank Tim

Just wondering, what was improved by doing this? Better acceleration? More speed? More power? I have the same quad.

I did that too on ours. Since it has a CVT and also a high top speed it doesnt seem to have much bottom end or torque. The smaller front sprocket increases acceleration and percieved low end torque, but reduces top speed. It is almost needed on these if you go off road.

Also an 88cc Honda XR/CRF50 big bore kit (cylinder & piston) can be installed for almost double the HP/TQ.
